What is a button under the dash used for

Some pleople think that internet anonymity and "freedom of speech" bestows both the ability and the right to say anything they please and the more snide or hurtful the better. These people need to grow up. Civilization requires civility which means making the effort to restrain yourself from being mean just because it makes you feel clever at someones expense. It's needful to not overeact but equally needful to avoid poking every voodoo doll you come across. The reason you don't talk crap over the net is the same reason you don't do it behind someone's back, namely, that saying it to their face puts your nose at risk, right where it should be as a reminder to behave yourself. Doing it anyway brands you as a certain type of person. Saying your friends know you differently only points out that you lack integrity since your public and private personas don't match. You want to be a bully on the internet? Fine, do it for real in your life and walk around with two black eyes and knuckle bumps. Or, grow up and treat people you'll never meet face to face at least as well as those you do.

 

I've had racist "friends" who like to big time in front of their boys. I've always told them not to say anything about other races that you wouldn't say at the top of your lungs in their neighborhood at night. It fits here as well.

Its really the TW way, i have been around for awhile, i was a little inactive since was on T4R with my 4runner for a few years and when i announced my come back to Tacoma and said i had an order/deposit down on a new 2019 i was told immediately from another member that i was full of shit, had no money, and actually never went to the dealership to order a Tacoma

Some things just cannot go every ones way, just take what you need, and stay out of what frustrates you. It is really a great community but again can be frustrating.
Luckily there are TONS of lawyers and engineers on this forums so literally anything can be answered, but use choice words on Fridays, its nasty

Relatively new, but isn't there a person on here known to create new accounts to troll? Hate to say it, but this sounds like the perfect case. In the time it takes to ask, the OP could just as easily have Googled it with faster results.

 

Leave it up to another Virginia brother to have the sense to see what the issue really is sometimes. I agree with you definitely. Sure being mean to people isn’t right but it doesn’t happen every time a person asks a question which is the way that a few people are trying to make it seem.

Folks are invisible on forums...that is why they cuss, shout, be offensive, etc., that they would never do on in the workplace. This is a Tacoma forum not a personality project. I learn a lot about my Tacoma on this forum as well I am sure others do also. Please be civil or go elsewhere.
