I wonder what's the actual rock crawler to mall crawler ratio in this country. Anyway I'd rather own one of the mall crawlers you guys are calling out on here than push around an ultra lifted, RBP'd out bro mobile.

Lot of hostility on this thread. Just remember:

    1. The remote trails are limited in number, and they're crowded enough already.

    2. Off-road suspension manufacturers and distributors stay in business by selling parts. The money doesn't care how the parts are used once they're out the door. In software, we call it "shelfware."

So, every mall-crawler that is built is supporting the industry while not using up valuable trail space. :D

Mall crawlers are more about the driver than the truck IMO.... Its like ricers, they do stupid mods to their cars like fart cans, spoilers on FWD cars, loud stereos, different colored body kits, etc etc. It just shows the douchy personality of the driver.

    Yep.
that I disagree with. It's all about the look and ATs don't look menacing enough. Mall crawler's more likely to be sporting Swampers than ATs.

Let's not confuse people's attitudes and behavior with their vehicles. At least not completely. People have legitimate reasons for installing all terrain tires instead mud tires, light bars instead of bumpers, and cheap suspension/ body lifts. I think people are taking offense more to the pretentious attitudes of people instead of the vehicle itself. Besides douchebaggery is universal across demographic, racial, and preferential lines.

At least that's my 2 cents.

Now I feel bad lol. I've worked my ass off on my truck but it hasn't seen more than a dirt road. but it ain't no damn mall crawler! :)
I still need tire upgrades (still OEM Sport) oh, and someone to do on a trail with me. I've never done anything; bought the truck to start playing!
