What is A trac exactly and would a locking rear diff be needed for minor off roading or trailing

Trying to decide between sport and trd off road

 

I love my sport, but when compared to the off road, the sport is over priced. Do you need the locker for minor off roading, I don't think so. Are you getting a manual trans?

You get crawl control as well. Have you test driven both yet?

I have the offroad. It works just like the normal, brake controlled trac system, it is just MUCH more aggressive. It sounds like a machine gun when its working.
