I have had to increase spring tension to clear 35's and now have some cv angle. My main concern is boot wear. Based on the responses I get here I will either keep the 35's If this angle is okay or reduce spring tension, bringing the front end down and go with 33's. Needle bearing is not a concern because I am replacing it with an ECGS bushing. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated. Mostly street driven so longevity is my main concern. IMG_1892.jpg

Was thinking of doing it when I get my new lift installed. I need to read up more about it but it seems simple.

Boot slide mod or buy CVs with high angle boots when those blow up (which i doubt will be soon)

And considering you are on a drop bracket lift I dont see why you would have any issues clearing 35s, alignment has more to do with it than height

Thats pretty much what mine look like with OME 887 coils. I'm just gonna wait until they tear and then reboot

For some reason, I thought 20x12 with a -44 was a good idea. It wasn't. Another option is letting the springs up and doing a 20x10 OR and this is where people will lose their mind, COA spacer on top of the COA and letting the springs up.

From what I’ve read the boot slide mod takes less then 30 min for the cost of a quality hose clamp. Why not just do the preventative measure when the procedure looks so easy..??
