What is ARE MX camper shell total height?

    Wondering what is the total exterior height of a ARE MX camper shell on a stock 3rd Gen SR.

    I saw that same chart… but wasn’t sure it that was the from bottom to tallest external point of the shell

    do you want the height from the ground up to the top of the shell? Like as you were trying to get it in a garage? What’s the total height of your garage up to any of the hardware that hangs down from the door support?

    I have an MX, a 1.5 inch lift, and KO2’s. I’ll get the height for you and from that and you can subtract what you think you need. It makes for a pretty tall rig so if you have an older house, you probably won’t be able to garage it. Mine has a rack on top, so it’s even higher than usual.

    It’s a great shelf if you’re planning on sleeping inside. I made a platform inside that goes across the top of the bedside rails all the way across, and it makes for a great sleeper, with plenty of headroom because of the height of the shell.
