what is clutch fluid?

Agreed on model-specific but, since my TRD OR (with Tow Package) has separate reservoirs and your SR5 doesn't, it must be part of the OR and/or Tow packages. I don't recall it listed in any of the documentation, though...

I just did mine last weekend, but didn't think to take photos. Pretty simple process, though it requires two people (one to pump the pedal and one to open the bleeder). Note that, if you have separate reservoirs, the clutch one is TINY. I had to refill after opening the bleeder valve only ~5 times. In light of that, I figure 7-8 openings constitutes a full flush of the system.

 

I believe its related to the type of master cylinder and booster you have. Traditional style vacuum booster and MC then its shared reservoir. If you have that electro-hydraulic unit then its separate reservoirs, something to do with ATrac or VSC.

 

I think we may have figured it out. I have the tow package on my SR5. It has a vacuum booster so it must be TRD OR trucks have a separate reservoir...

 

I have 2008 TRD Off Road with tow package with vacuum booster and shared reservoir. It depends only on A-TRAC and VSC, which I do not have. Now what years those came with what packages, I don't know.
