i have a little over 2" on my icons. I want to swap to 14" 700# coils upon my rebuilt to possibly have a little less preload. Mine rides great, in fact i feel it rides a little stiffer with less pre-load. My angles are still great.

I'm sorry man. I didn't mean to come off that way.
I hope you get your lift sorted out.

are you planning on having an additional weight in the front end? theres different spring options you can go with. Eibach makes a 14" 650lb coil if you dont want to be too stiff in the front.

Not yet on the additional weight but I plan on getting some armor up front so I will probably wait on the springs until then so it's all finalized at one time. Thanks again for the info!

Haha I know this is a little old, but was going from 13" 600lb to a 14" 700lb too much? I'm about to buy an ADS suspension and swap for a 14" coil right away but not sure if I want 650 or 700lb

ICON Stage 5 Lift, 18x9 Fuel Shok, Nitto Ridge Grappler 285/65/18 tires
My Stage 5 ICON lift on my 19 Tacoma Off-Road is about 2". On the instructions it says not to go past 2.13" for 16-up Tacomas. When my installer originally did them, I had maybe 1.5" or a bit less of threads showing, resulting in a slight rub from my 285/65/18 Ridge Grapplers when i would turn the wheel at a certain point and it was raked so it was a bit lower in the front (a good bit when you looked at it from the side). Took it back and got the threads showing to about 2". No rubbing now. Ride is just fine. Looks way more level now.
