Again, this is what milky motor oil looks like. It out of a 2.5 ton forklift. 100% positive it’s due to short trip usage. Imagine a steel distributor. They get shipments of steel and use a bigger 7 ton forklift to offload it. They get orders, I need 1 of this, 6 of that, 12 of that. The truck arrives to pick up the order, they load it with the smaller forklift running the engine for maybe 2-3 minutes. Next day same thing, and the next and next. So the engine never reaches operating temperature.

It’s something I see on a regular basis. I always tell them there’s a slight possibility it’s a head gasket but it’s more likely due to condensation in the crank case. I advise to warm up the engine good in the morning. Some do and the problem goes away. Some don’t and the problem persists. Some say I’ve already been told and I’m not gonna do that.

Hi folks, thanks for all the great answers! I believe the question has been answered.
I drive 2 miles to work and my coolant level never changes, nor does its color. The engine runs fantastic with only 119k miles on it. Just trying to keep it that way and has never seen this.

:thumbsup:It would be a good idea to get it on the highway once in awhile and run it a few miles to burn all the moisture out of the crankcase.
Also you may want to shorten your oil change intervals to compensate for short trips.
