Yes they are. They are a different SUB-species, there is a difference.

Luckily there's a word for what I'm talking about, extirpation. It means a species is extinct in a certain area, but still exists elsewhere.

Meaning the Wolves around the Weippe ID area that wreaked havoc for years? Same with any of the larger predators when out of balance.
The “Snowflakes” don’t understand or have seen animals taken down and often eaten alive by these predators.

I guess I can’t talk for the east but for the west, lion, bears, coyotes, and wolves have health populations and as far as I’m concerned, the wolves we have running around now are under managed and out of control, same goes for the grizzly population:

Coyotes numbers have been growing in certain parts of NYC, having to add that subsection to a Health & Safety plan for a job site in the Bronx was interesting to say the least

well, this is at 35 pages now....
im afraid i also have no idea what the hell is going on. It started with someone basing what vehicle to buy off of whether a cow's hide was used to make the shift boot or not... now its talking about population of coyotes and wolves in the western USA. Feels like a democratic campaign debate.

I call bullshit purely on the basis of "eaten alive". I've seen a shitload of nature shows and I've only seen a couple of things "eaten alive" by "larger predators". Most are killed first.

Pirhanas eat one alive. Mosquitoes "eat ya alive" (well, suck you running)

Big predators kill or choke ya to death first.

I never stated I’ve seen them eaten alive, but I’ve seen the mess after the fact over the years on a Bull elk and deer from lions. Re-Read
    the fucking post.
