I wonder if his girlfreind is putting these ideas in his head. She says meat is bad because she has some false sense of being better than everyone else who eats meat. She says ejaculation is bad because she does not want to have sex with her vegan boyfriend because vegan men are not manly.

 

Oh my, I have so many questions. Seriously, I'm genuinely curious.

Starting with the spider thing: How does the killing of spiders raise your personal cosmic good again? Is it the age-old philosophical idea of sacrificing one life to potentially save many lives? In a broader sense, what other situations would it be justifiable to end a life? What happens to the spider corpses after you kill them? Are they put to good use, does something get to eat them for the valuable nutrients that they are, or are they thrown in the trash?


Also, I'm really interested in the ejaculation theory. What is the link between ejaculation and evil? What observations do you have that led you to that hypothesis?

Veganism is one of the scientifically worst diets for humans unless you are only doing it to lose weight. You can not be healthy on a vegan diet without taking an obscene amount of supplements. No offense to you, but an all meat diet (beef) is actually much better for your body than veganism. Chicken has a lot of protein, but not enough fat. Your body needs the fat as an energy source if you're not eating carbs.

 

Oh look, the vegan is also a totalitarian, what a surprise....

 

Well this escalated quickly. Dude just wanted to know if the seats in a tacoma were vegan.

 

Yeah not to mention if all humans became vegans, 99% of all the forests and land where these animals live would have to become farmland. Its basically impossible to sustain on this planet.

Believe me, carbs are plentiful if you dont eat much meat. I'm addicted to damn french fries. Avocados and nuts are good sources of fat, veggies have plenty of protein.

 

How do you figure this? What do you think cows eat? Convert livestock fields and feed plots to vegetables (along with the water resources for both), theres your extra veggie resource. Will be interesting if the lab-grown meat thing becomes cost effective down the road

 

I know they are plentiful, I was talking about a zero carb, only eating fatty meats diet. You need the fat without carbs. Protein is hard for your body to convert to energy.

 

Alright I'll give you that, but most animals are cornfed and that shit is extremely easy to grow and has little impact on the land. Fruit trees and other vegetable plants sometimes require a shitload more water than what it takes to raise cows. Just depends on what veggies we decided to grow with that extra land. Also there's probably a million calories per cow. How many plants would it take to produce 1 million calories?

So imagine trying to control and police a population according to the new doctrine of cruelty free. That in itself would be next to impossible even with our current non vegan, well trained and highly motivated military. An entire nation of gun owning freedom loving meat eaters.

Not to mention what you brought up earlier. The food issue would would bring the movement to its knees. Re structuring agriculture. And vegans don’t eat strictly vegetables they eat highly processed fake foods as well, that takes resources.

 

Serious question for the vegans.

Why is eating plant life ok? If you are opposed to harming living things, I've got news for you. Plants react to stimuli, they can communicate with each other, defend themselves from disease, reproduce etc. No central nervous system like ours but some animals don't really have that either.

What about fungi? Theyve got their whole thing going on, but it's ok to eat them?

Boils down to if you don't want to harm living things, why is it just one of the kingdoms of life you don't eat?
