Sponges don't feel pain, at least in any way we could understand.

    There are carnivorous sponges BTW.

I found the same. That is, it’s difficult to have an authentic conversation on TW. TW is great for superficial Tacoma talk (and that is plenty). Folks here generally don’t appreciate the value of divergent thinking, let alone respect it. Many are excited to tear others down in the name of their view of comedy or stemming from their own internal preconditioning. I understand this. I’ve never been on social media and for me, I dabbled here with deeper discussions and was disappointed every time. Not the focus of TW, so it’s not a problem. There are a few members that appreciate hearing new ideas and participate in a healthy way. TW is great and would be perfect if it didn’t have members. ;)

    Plants aren’t animals?:notsure:

Also plants are very diverse. Some you can eat, some can kill you, some are carnivorous, some “bleed”, etc.

True, but they both manifest from the same cosmic energy.

The same can be said about the bullshit arguments that you spew out. Your logic is severely flawed and you have little (if any) real scientific fact to back it up. You have to be one of the most dense and ignorant personalities that I've happened across on the interwebs.

Someone felt sorry for the dinosaurs that where treated unfairly by the cavemen. They lived 64.9 million years apart. People will say anything to verify their beliefs. Keep telling yourselves you're normal, even better then us all, how you're going to save the earth. Face it, you don't know shit, really, not shit.

Oops, you misunderstood me. You asked if only certain plants felt pain and I was wondering if only certain animals felt pain. Like if one plant feels pain wouldn't they all?

    Hahahahahahaha.

That was me. I meant to show what a stupid argument comparing fossil fuels being cruel to meat industry being cruel. One died from natural causes one died by a bolt to the forehead after living a horrible life caused by humans.

I guess I need to be more clear in the future.
