what is little square thing in front of park?

    afe pro-dry S, flowmaster 40 series, ipod interface, black headlights, yellow fogs
    on my 08 auto there is a little square thing that you can kind of pry up with your finger nail... its right in front of the P for park on the center counsel shifter, what is it?

    If you can't start your engine you and depress that button to shift in to neutral for the tow. :)

    So it basically allows your to shift gears with out the engine being on.

    Good question. I tried getting it up with my nail too but ended up just leaving it closed. I was too lazy to get a screwdriver. what is it anyone?
