If it looks close just adjust the kings in the front up slightly until it's not an issue.

Check out ADS and radflo. More bang for your buck over King, Fox, and Icon. Do some research and you will see that ADS and Radflo are the only manufacturers that sell the same exact product that goes on their sponsored race rigs. King, Icon, and Fox do not.

Secondly, Icon is garbage. You couldn’t pay me to put anything Icon on another one of my trucks. I’ve had 2 setups from them and both didn’t last. I’ve had Kings, and they are great both on and off road.

Fox is branded off the shelf shit that people only buy because a shop recommended them because they sell cool hats and shirts. Customer service is a massive shit show just like Icon.

I have ADS on my current rig and I am blown away at how superior they are to anything I’ve ever run.

Next, please for the love of God buy some wheels that are made for Toyotas. SCS, Raceline, etc. Fuel wheels are just shelf wheels that everybody has on their mall rigs.

For the price that you show in the picture, you could get everything shown including a complete leaf pack for less money through Headstrong.

99% of the Fox and icon fanboys on here will start crying about what I said because they don’t know any better or just didn’t research the product before they bought.

    Buy once, cry once.

    1) replace needle bearing w/ ECGS bushing "while you're in there"
    2) I hear extended rear brake lines are a good idea, but maybe not warranted

    1)Can you explain why?
2)I considered the extended brake lines but doubt I'll need them. I'll keep a close eye on the stock lines.

Anything more than 2" on these trucks and the stock needle bearing on the driver side tends to vibrate all to hell.....vibration leads to failure. The 8" clamshell bushing that ECGS manufactures eliminates this vibration/failure. Well worth it since you'll have everything unbuttoned anyway.

The U-Bolt flip kit is for more clearance and protection of your u-bolt threads. And i went with the leaf pack because I plan to upgrade the bumper soon and to prevent sagging.

Would I need an AAL be necessary if I add a slim-line bumper/winch? To prevent sagging (even tho I already have a 3" lift)

So he should go with an Icon or Fox setup then?
lol, kidding, but it's good to get opinions on setups with real experiences. I'll take this into consideration for my own truck as well!

If you have just the lift and you add armor then it will probably start sagging after time and wheelin trips. I don't have a slim-line bumper nor a winch up front but if I did then I would upgrade my front coils to something with a higher spring rate depending on how heavy the bumper and winch is. I did a full leaf pack instead of an AAL because i've been told the leaf spring that come stock are not very good so id rather dish out a little more cash now because it does get pretty heavy with all the gear, bike, rack, bumper, ect.

Sounds like a solid plan... Thank you for the wisdom!

I laughed when I originally read that because then it clicked just how true that statement is.

I was completely unaware that certain wheels were made for Toyota's...

I am picky about the look of wheels and I still think the fuel assaults are pretty damn sexy.

lol no sweat. Just personal preference. Just know the bigger the wheel the less wall you have. Check out @SCS or Method

A lot of the mass produced wheels that aren’t Toyota specific are not hub centric wheels and require hub rings. You can shear lug nuts while driving with a non hub centric wheel.
