What is the only biggest item you have towed with your taco?
Mine, was a camry.. no lie my brother killed the car on Christmas Eve. That is the first major item i've had to tow. And yes i got my dad to put a new engine in the camry. idk when the work is gonna start. Its part of my brothers grounding tho for killin the car.

Im with him^ I yanked an old stuck Yota out. And I hauled a uhaul trailed with a total weight of about 2,000lbs of camping gear. I was impressed with my trucks ability to do it. I know its only 2,000 lbs but I was going 80-90MPH. (I later realized how dangerous this is, Ive corrected it since)

Lots of small stuff; Grillcraft MX, Bilstein 5100's, Deck Plate Mod w/ K&N air filter, Airaid MIT, braided SS brake lines, Redline Tuning QuickLIFT hood struts, Extang Full-Tilt tonneau cover, fog light mod, gray wire mod, power outlets on-demand, Diff breather ext, additional contours to passenger side from oak tree.
I've not done any notably heavy towing, but twice now I've loaded the bed with cut hardwood and drove over 300 miles with it...

An interesting point is that it was almost completely interstate driving (not my normal routine) and my gas mileage actually went up both times!

Where do I start ??? I have 3 younger brothers and an Adventurous son....
My '85 Hilux became the family Rescue wagon;),Dakotas,F-250/350 and bow-ties...
My '99 Taco then took its place BUT my '02 has been the busiest. My Boys '85 & '87 Toyota p/u's have found "interesting routes in" BUT lost its way out...."Oh Dad calls" were common;)...His 4-runner( stolen/totaled:( ) and Jeep ( last time I hauled it home,it was repaired and SOLD;) ) never had a chance....

I guess that is what happens when your "Truck" starts everytime, pulls almost anything ( if done RIGHT ;) ) and you answer your phone :cool:..

    VixTacom,
If you answer your phone..get ready to have a busy recovery lifestyle.LOL

AHHH where to start.... My boat down to Caverun Lake KY about 4-6 times a year plus the weekly towing to the river (about 3k), 18ft trailer with 6-8 large trees stacked for fire wood (probably the heaviest thing I ever towed guessing about 4-5k), Porsche 914 from NKY to Atlanta (trailer weighted more than the car maybe 2-3k), Quad trailer with 4 quads 2500 lbs... Its quite the hauler...

I have towed a 99 Chevy monte carlo, 91 Toyota MR2 turbo, 2005 Subaru WRX STI on a 17' featherlite car trailer.

And I pull my sea-doo during the summer time.

I pulled a mustang out of a ditch on the way home from work tonight. Theres a lot of ice everywhere here.
