Not looking for biggest that can fit just best performing in a mixture of off road and pavement.

I’m purchasing a set of 265/70-17 KO2’s for my Second Gen and was hoping to use them on the PRO if I trade in next year.

cant recall Pro stock size off top of my head but I think it’s similar. Is the stock size optimal discounting looks ?

265/70/17 are 1 inch greater in diameter than 265/70/16. They fit fine without rubbing unless you have wheel spacers or wheels with big offset (poke). It is not the optimal size for street driving, as it will rob power, efficiency, and torque, compared to the slightly smaller factory-specified size. These changes are fairly minimal, and the slight upgrade in off the road performance, and the big upgrade in looks justifies the change IMHO.

I run 265/70/17 on 4-Runner pro wheels. They have about 1” more poke than stock TRD OR wheels and about 1/2” more poke than the stock TRD Pro wheels. No rubbing. Truck runs great.

Thanks. This is what I needed to know. Good to know my wheels/tires will make a smooth transition. Didn’t want to start messing with the stock susp which I assume Toyota has in place for good reason.
