After browsing this forum for quite some time I finally bought a Taco at the end of last year. I got the Entune system and am curious what it could possibly do in the future. I searched around but couldn't find any information. What is the capacity of the hard drive? Is there a possibility of a trip computer app? What are some ideas or apps you'd like to see in the future?

    Thanks

I have been highly unimpressed with mine so far. Maybe when the dealer puts in a new hard drive it might work better? It would be better if they used android as the operating system.

Entune software is by QNX who also does the systems for Acura, Audi, BMW, Hyundai, GM, and a bunch of others. Looks like the system is upgradable as long as Toyota wants to put the effort into it. I know the service is free for the first 3 years and then it's supposedly going to be $10/year after that...but if they don't add anything useful, it's going to be tough for them to get people to stay with it. To me it seems like Toyota was pressured to get a system like this on the market and pushed it out before it was really ready.

Edit: By the way, QNX is a division of Blackberry, so it makes sense that they'd include features that only work with their phones...even though nobody uses them anymore...
