What is the BEST 2nd gen pre 2012 Tacoma??

I will soon be looking to purchase a low mileage 2nd gen double cab 4x4 w/ a 4.0 v6 pre 2012.
I would like some opinions on which production year was the very best. IE; fewest recalls, most stylish, most dependable, best features, etc...
Im going to use it for a DD with some limited trail running and want to get the best truck possible.

2011 has the honeycomb grill, but that's about all I got. Oh, also the later models can have a rear-view camera.

 

2009+ Off Roads have ATRAC, earlier models do not.

 

If you are looking at Sport models, the 08 and earlier have real limited slip while the later models use the brake system to mimic limited slip.

the sports still had an actual lsd and all models did not have all those "modern" electronic features lol
all they had was abs...no traction control etc
