What is the best replacement stereo for a 2010 Tacoma? If you have a nice system, can you post pics? What kind of speakers did you replace the OEM with? Will aftermarket stereo and speakers just plug and play, or is there a lot of modifications to be made?

    "Best" is subjective.

What's your budget, for a head unit? What features do you absolutely have to have? What features would you like it to have? What features don't you care about?

Most aftermarket head units will plug n play with a harness adapter, same for speakers. Adding subs an amps is where modifications may come into play.

Honestly, I'm not sure. I have a 2007 Tacoma with the factory stereo and it's good enough for me at my age :( . I bought a 2010 Tacoma for my 16 year old son, so I'm sure he will want one with all the bells and whistles. It's been so long since I actually messed with aftermarket stereos, I don't even know what all options you can get on one now. Any suggestions of Stereo and Speaker brands would be appreciated. I'm sure he would want an amp as well, so suggestions on those and where to mount, etc would be great!
