I’m replacing my rear end on my 2004 tacoma TRD and I am not planning on lifting. While I have the rear end off, I figured I mine as well upgrade the dated OEM rear shocks. What’s the best bang for my buck?

Oh there will be some mods all right
If you rarely go off-road KYBs are a good choice. If you offroad somewhat frequently the already mentioned Bilstein 4600s and 5100s are good choices.
