I have a 1999 tacoma 4x4 TRD and I LOVE it it's my first truck and it does everything I want it to do. Right now I have 18in after market rims and 32in nitto terra grapplers which are great tire they ride great and have never let me down but I'm looking for a good all around mud tire and I wanted to see what the TW thoughts would be. So what's the best all around mud tire like best miles and price and capability or your just favorite mud tire?

Check into goodyear duratracs. Supposed to be an excellent tire, very aggressive, plenty of people have put tons of miles on them, they're ment for commercial trucks so they are tough and last long. I'm sure someone else will recommend them

Favorite? Cut Boggers, but I would never willingly put my own truck in a mud hole again. I've spent way too much time and money repairing dirty nasty mud trucks.

Narrow tsl super swampers I run them on my scout :headbang: but for a DD I'd go with Kevlar mtrs I've heard nothing but great things about them in all terrains not just mud

Narrow bias ply Buckshot Mudders,,nuff said. Super deep tread and huge side lugs with the bias. They howled like a Redbone bloodhound, and squirmed all over the place at medium speeds,,but the confidence in traction was very high.

I had a set of the radial versions (KR-15's) mounted on spare wheels. Unstoppable. Was pulling out full size rigs trapped in the snow and mud.

I sometimes regret selling those tires and wheels,,but then I think back to how many times I was rolling around in the muck just to clear trail and hook up tow straps.
