Hey guys i have a 2011 taco double cab 4x4 short bed. I want a lift but i dont know whats best. I know the TOYTEC boss or ultimate lift are the best lifts but i dont plan on doing any really serious off roading, maybe hit a trail or two every now and then but most of the time be road driven. SO should i get the full suspesion lift or would a leveling kit do the same thing? I really want a 3 inch lift and i know toytec has many options. I just want to know which one i should do. ANY advice will be greatly appreciated. Also which will be the most bang for my buck

I guess so but i guess my main question is what is the difference between leveling and full suspension other than comfort?

As LH points out, Toytech seems to fit the bill and is a solid company building good products.
The Boss Coilover may be overkill for your needs imo. Call em.

    ^^^ This

If you're mostly on the road, the Bilstein 5100s all around will fit your bill nicely and level the truck if you choose to. No compromise on the ride quality unless you change the setting up front beyond the .85" mark.

I don't want to compromise drivability at all and i want to do whats best for my truck while still getting the look and options i desire. Are the Bilstein 5100s just a stronger version of the stock shock and wont give me any lift?

Are you going to increase tire size in the future?

Sorry i should have mentioned that in my original post. Tire size will be increased to a 33 inch tire upon lifting.

Look at 285/70/17. Basically the same size. Expect to trim inner fenders regardless.
There are many options from Toytech. From full kits to simple spacer and add a leaf.
Make a conscious effort to buy smart the first time. Don't half ass it and decide you should of spent a bit more for quality, like many of us have.
I've run the ome kit and many Toytech lifts and no issues ever. I'm a big fan of the OME line. I am installing the BOSS Kit on the new Tacoma this week on my Overland build.
Do a bit of research and call Toytech tomorrow for advice.
I see the Billies and an add a leaf in your future. It's economical, looks good and improves ride on and off. GL my man.
