bone stock save for the block lift that came on it with the open country m/t.
I voted tw, I mean really? you mean to tell me there are other forums out there? I guess I am too lazy to find out. I think this is the first one that came up when I googled "tacoma truck forums" or something like that, it was a couple of years ago. The rest, as they say....is history. :D

Can I offer my constructive criticism...

    • CT - great for electrical mods and information
    • TN - TOO MANY ADs. Seriously, how does anyone search this site...it takes so freaking long for the page to load (and I'm cable speed).
    • TTORA - Great for off-road info but I'm afraid to ask questions until I'm fully knowledgeable on something. They can be ignorant and nasty if you ask a question the wrong way or even smell like a newb.
    • TN - friendly, full of info, great regulars...a much better site to waste my time on!

TW was the first site that I visit. I heard people talk about other Toyota sites in post, I gave them a visit and there sites seems complicated. Too much advertisement! TW is the best.

Looks like to me that CustomTacos looks like a ghost town compared to this place:rolleyes:

This was the first place I landed when I first knew I was buying a Taco. The information was invaluable.

I checked out the other sites briefly, but only because they were referenced by other folks in different threads around here.

Here calling home I am very much anymore. :)

TW seems to have the best format. The others have ads and aren't as easy to navigate through or to see user's profiles and pics. This one is much more user friendly. And, even though it's not in the poll, Tundra Solutions is the worst when it comes to ads.

I used to go on CT all the time. Now when i sign on, crickets. Dont get me wrong, CT is still a good site for certain things, but this is where the money is at. All around good stuff and people. Like someone said earlier, almost like family.

I like custom tacos & tacoma world, TW def. has more 05+ that intrest me but I like the "small town" feel of custom tacos. I can't keep up with all of the threads on TW. Tough call for me, I post more there & read more here. Both get a tumbs up from me.

My first toyota website was sr5.net which at the time was more listserve.
From there, it was Tundrasolutions since I owned a couple of tundras (04 & 06).
Once I got my 06 Tacoma, TS's tacoma section wasn't that active so I found TN then found home here at TW.

Thats what drew me to this place. Alot of the times when you join new forums, people are quick to jump at you or say "did you even search for info on your question before posting?" TW is nothing like that. Very informative, but very hard on the wallet!
