what is the bolt i’d need to replace

    IMG_0078.jpg IMG_0070.jpg Started having a hard time turning right. looked to see if i could find what was the problem and it looks like i broke the biggest bolt on the steering rack. please help

    3rz to 2Rz bebuilt block and new heads
    You can just tap that out forward......thats just the retaining nut and threaded end thats sheered off...

    Lots of dust and custom dents, Check Build
    If you're in a hurry and can't source the Toyota part locally, a 5/8x8" grade 8 bolt can be found pretty easily and fits perfectly.


    You should replace those bushings though, too.

    Yeah the bushing(s) are shot.....thats why it backed out in the first place
    all that banging around sheared that right off....


    IF you still have the oil leak.....it will just get into the new bushings and eat them up too.....thats what started all this

    Might be a good time to check your lower control arm bushing too. They might be in the same condition
