How did you get that kind of deal? I have a trailer and just sleep in the cap when I'm alone, but that price would twist my arm too much to pass up even if I only used it a few times a year.

So for those that use RTT's on a regular basis. If you're packing up and moving daily and just folding the RTT up with sleeping bag & all - do you experience and issues with the sleeping bag getting damp? I always try and open my bag up to air out for a while after each evening given the amount of water we lose each night.

I realize I'm late to the party, but this is super illegal in most states iirc. You can't hunt from a vehicle.

Except in Texas where you can hunt hogs from a helicopter with machine guns. Murica. :fenforcer:

I don't have one, but I'm interested in one. Fast Deployment, you can leave your bed clothes on. Just park, pop open, crawl in, and sleep.

    I see the appeal.

we just open up all the windows and doors, and let the air in while we cook breakfast and plan routes. The tent is the last thing stowed before rolling out.

Even with heavy rains every day for a week a few years ago.. no issues with soggy bedding.

Buys a $30-40k truck. Complains that other people spent an extra $1300 on a tent.

Why would anyone buy a Honda Civic and put a wing on the back?

Why do fuckboi ass-clowns buy flat bill hats and white framed oakleys?

Ha ha, damn near! Have seen elk in the wild down in AZ when I lived there, but this was my first moose here in Idaho...right before I left for the tripped I mentioned to the better half I hope a see moose...and boy howdy I did! I kinda wanted to see one from the road sitting min my truck, not face to face. All I could think about was watching hunting videos and the moose charging.

I haven't had a problem with moisture being trapped in my bag, and I normally store my bag in the folded tent. I spend maybe 60% of my time in the desert (the other 40% being high Sierras/alpine forest), and I live in California, so maybe climate has some bearing on my experience.

Is this a serious question that you want a serious answer to, or a rhetorical question intended to generate "me too" responses?

If it's the former, I'd be happy to share my 2c.

Well said. It’s funny and ironic. You have the people shaming others for owning an RTT because they do it for IG likes, looks and status yet the ones complaining about it are bragging about how macho or manly sleeping on the ground makes them look. If you want to sleep on the ground, in a tent, in the bed, a hammock then good for you but try not to ridicule others for your own insecurities and self righteousness.
