    Im looking for 265/70 r18's however when im looking i have the choice of p265/70 r 18 or lt 265/70r 18 what is the differnce between lt and p? Or what do they mean?

    P stands for passenger car and LT stands for Light Truck. You can get either for our trucks. The P rated tires will have less ply's and be lighter weight providing a quieter smoother and more comfortable ride on the street. The LT tires will have more plys and be heavier- better for off-road and less likely to puncture but will be stiffer and provide rougher ride on the street. Personally, I am a street queen so I went with the P rated tire for mpg and a nicer ride.
