I picked up my new 09 taco last night (woohoo) love it. I'll post pics when it stops raining here.

I have an appointment to get the driver and passenger windows tinted. I just need to know what Toyota uses for tint on the rear access cab windows and rear slider window?

I just want it to match up.
    Thanks!

I have 35% on the fronts which turn out to look exact looking from inside the cab out, but looks a little lighter in most light when looking from the outside in. alot also use 20%. a big factor of it matching from the outside is the brand of tint they use, I have noticed different brands of tint have a slightly different shade when you look at it from the outside

ok, so I guess 20% on the doors would best match up with the access cab windows?

On my D.C. I went thru heck with a local shop. They put 15% on the front to "match". What a joke. It looked 2x's as dark. The front measure 77%, Rear doors are 27%. I plan on putting 35% Solargard (HP Supreme I believe) on the front windows and calling it a day. FYI, in FL the tint laws are 28% F, 15% R.

I went with 20%, not quite as dark as the back which is fine as tinted windows are illegal in California anyways.

I was told that the factory tint does not have the UV protection that aftermarket tint has. If you're getting tint to keep cool, then you should tint all the way around. Minus the windshield of course.

I got 20% on the fronts and 35% on the back on top of the factory tint. The brand was Solar Guard. If you put 20% on the front, it would be darker than just the factory tint. 35% would match the back.

35% tint windows, OEM black running boards, OEM black roof rack, Foglight mod, De-badged & Sockmonkey Horns decals added, Two ammo box storage units (removed), 110 volt & 12 volt outlets for back seat area, EGR Slimline inchannel visors (all windows), Fold-A-Cover G4, Tonneau, Bedmat.
I just had the 35% done to my fronts and it matches as noted above.
Here in Arizona 35% is the legal limit on front windows.

I was told by the tint place I went to that my factory tint was 20% so I put limo (5%) on the back 3 windows over my factory tint. It looks good but I can't see shit backing up at night :)
