What is the functional or performance gain using different wheel offsets?

Idk wtf y’all debating, but I’m pretty sure geometry was the one with shapes. Let’s see some diagrams and shit

 

Some increased stability makes running V notches feel far more comfortable puts mud on the roof reduces wheel bearing life. But that's at a -25 I noticed 0 improvements outside of a visual at a +1 offset. As long as you stay around a 0 you won't have much for increased rubbing, may have to lose the mud flaps or drop to a low pro option.

In the rear yes... Technically... but also negligible when talking about a 50 mm swing.

 

It may be very small - but isn’t there an mpg hit if you push the tires out of the wheel wells?

 

Are there any reasons you would NOT want to run -Offset?
Like putting more stress on the thrust bearings in the wheel / axle?
