What is the purpose of the 2024 MT having less power than the auto!.

    Maybe just different harnesses, but it makes sense that the logic is similar.

    There will for sure be different harnesses because the 4wd ECU now uses 4 smaller connectors instead of the 1 large and 1 small like the 3rd gen used. The ADD uses the same exact connector that 3rd gen used:

    Which means the ADD should function the same or similar as previous. Ultimately the ADD is what you manipulate in the 2lo mod so other than getting the new harness built, it should pretty much be the same mod as it was.

    Of course, there may be some changes to the ECU logic and it may need some different form of foolery to be happy. The 3rd gen needed a resistor in place so the ECU would be happy when the ADD was bypassed. That may or may not work on this new truck, just need to experiment to find out.

    YotaWerx Stage 1, Bumper light bar, Hood wrap, Roadmaster Active Suspension, Durobumps.
    A reverse that low would be mint for backing up with a load.

    A reverse with a higher top speed than first is for emergency get out of dodge situations though as if you need to reverse out in a hurry from say being robbed, you only have one backwards gear vs many forward gears.
