    Recently installed a Blue Ox base plate so the Taco can be flat towed behind a motorhome. According to the Blue Ox instructions they are "frame extensions". Don't know if Blue Ox made that up or not.

    So I just got off the phone with Toyota and it's actually a Tacoma Codpiece (patent pending) part#T127F

    Comes in different sizes. In fact there are rumors the off-road shops are coming up with mods.
