    tires.
33inch 10ply tires. popped 2 stock tires driving gravel roads. Skinny Toyos, great in all weather, on or off road. and fit stock suspension. by far the biggest difference mod.

No money, all went to truck...
I use these too but for passenger seat when I have heavy stuff on it. Dealer would not program that out for me.

Love all those. Totally get that, about increasing the utility of the truck. Which Draw Tite receiver did you get? And how did you add the rail anchor points?

Finally buying a new 3rd Gen after nursing my 1st Gen for 20 years. Not worrying about “what is going to break next” has made life a hell of a lot easier.

Guess that is the best mod of all, replacing the whole truck… :)

A bit extreme, but adding a 'house' to the back of mine was by far the single best improvement I made to my Tacoma.

Just about anything I need is always with me. Spare contacts, changes of clothes, first aid kit, a fridge, a place to take a nap, the list goes on and on. These things are everywhere that I am, whether at a friends house or far out at a trailhead on the way to canyoneer a canyon.

    Many!
I have done a lot of mods to my Tacoma. Mostly for apperance, convience and function. But probably the best mod I have made for comfort, by far, was the Front Seat Jackers by Desert Does It. They angle the seats back to support the back of the legs perfectly. I am 6'1" and the stock seat configuration felt like I was leaning forward a bit and did not support the back of my legs very well. After adding the Seat Jackers, I can drive all day without leg fatigue. I also bought a pair for the passenger seat and my wife could also tell the difference. A simple mod that really did change the way the seat feels.

Single best truck accessory was a couple giant labradors.

Yep. I did this exact same thing. However the new worry of some moron rear ending you is now present when driving something new.

I just bought the Tacoma specific draw tite class 3 receiver (some asshat rear ended me this am... so I guess that's it for that. I'll need another since mine looks pretty bent up.). The header rail and end caps were standard on the 2nd gen. I just purchased those fro. Toyota directly. It installs with existing bolts

No dealership in their right mind would be willing to disable the no seat belt chime lol.

Either the seat jackers for comfort or the bed mat for utility.

Seat standoffs were the very first thing I did. Going from a gen 1 to a gen3 i literally felt like i was driving a lowerd car. I couldn't take it . I think I did this mod on day2.
