What is the strangest thing your dog.....

My Weimaraner, Lexy had the strangest diet of any dog I've ever had, the short list included: Sticks,carpet,legos, aluminum .aluminum foil, Pepsi cans, the occasional rock & on one occasion she jumped up on the counter & made short work of 3 dozen unfrosted cupcakes , wrappers & all..

thank God it wasn't chocolate

 

My Rottie/Beagle loves the stinkbugs, dirty washclothes or sponges from the kitchen, and any type of sh*t that is in the yard regardless what type of animal it came from.... seems like a fetish for gross stuff.

But, she doesn't eat any of the above... she rolls in it... neck first!! It is the strangest thing

 

My Weimaraner once caught and ate (chewed) a common toad she found in the backyard. Freaked me out because she foamed at the mouth for about an hour.

Called the vet and he said it happens, no big deal. The toxin in the toad's skin is poisonous but not deadly. She was fine later.

Doesn't eat toads anymore.

Same Weim caught and brought me a live opossom ... but that's another story.

 

Haha ! yep, Lexy used to roll, neck first like you say in any fresh pile of shit she could find (her own or others) usually after she had a bath, tried changing dog shampoo didn't matter & it always left me thinking " What a wierd freaky fetish" SCAT DOG !!! uuggh, gross

 

errr...a tampon.

 

Love it, I've had alot of breeds but those Weimies win hands down on their twisted diet....

 

my Westie used to do that when she was younger. I have no idea what she would roll in but it smelled horrible. She eventually gave up on hunting or got tired of getting baths.

Not my dog, but the coolest thing I ever saw was a friends Boston Terrier (I hated it) had eaten a cassette tape, yeah I'm telling my age. We had come home from a night of drinking to discover "Taz" had tape hanging out of both ends, so me being the smart-ass I am told her to pull the tape and see if it would play. I thought it way funnier than than her, and she proceeded to call the vet.

 

Dogs love womens underwear for some reason... my dog is always dragging them off. He also ate the blinds on the sliding glass door, socks, rubber balls, dog crap, a dead bird, tupperware, and his own collar...

 

Since no one has asked I will.... was ...was it new in wrapper or out of the wrapper minus that "new tampon smell?"

 

LOL....His own dog house, the plastic ones that are shaped like an igloo!! ....(well not all of it of course, just one big section)

 

Tore up my Cable underground and a sprinkler head.. lil basterd

 

Just Today: a pen, leaves, the cotton stuffing for his bed.

 

wiemeraner eats crazy shit.....i never had one but a girl i knew did........the fucker ate a sock i watched it

 

thankfully my choc lab has never ate anything strange because he aint no dumbass

 

My 20lb dachshund mix ate the entire bag of my Valentines candy from my now-husband a few years ago. Most of it was chocolate. Right when I was getting good and worried over the whole thing she barfed it all up in my desk chair. *sigh*

We also have a down blanket that she chews on. Never actually eats any of it, just seems to love nibbling on it.

 

Glow in the dark airsoft BBs. The backyard looked radioactive all his poos had glowing dots lol
