In the short term, maybe. But #VanLife started dying out in favor of #Overlanding so really we just need a new thing kickstarted.

    Oh, I know #MinimalistCamping!

Picture of a tent, and a cooler; little else. The minimalism thing is in full hype mode right now, let's go with that.

I think of my setup more as #Glamping than #Overlanding

It’s all about self-sufficiency, man. That’s why you won’t catch me exploring the vast wilderness alone without my sponsors, fab shop bros, professional photographers and AR-15.

I haven't seen the vehicle yet but it should be close to that. But I'm more interested in the options that people put in them versus the exact vehicle being used.

If that’s your goal you need to get onto YouTube. Search MuseRoamer (step by step of a build copying an EarthRoamer) or the Everlanders same kinda thing. YouTube is FULL of that stuff.

    Thank you all.

Like I wrote before this isn't going to be my rig, I'm just 1 person in the team that's going to build it. I'm the "electrical guy" in the team.

It's going to be a diesel, 4x4, air lockers, armor, winch, with every piece of recovery gear available.

I don't have a clue because I typically will just get a sleeping bag, a bag of hot dogs and buns, water, beer, and hit the road lol.

In sll seriousness check out Ronny Dahl’s youtube channel. They go deep into the outback and have amazing rigs.
They discuss wiring set ups, dual battery systems, comms, recovery gear
Lots of walk around videos which he calls “Modified” video series can give you some good inspiration as an “auto sparky” as they call it

Andrew's truck is legit. You dont appreciate how big it is until you stand next to it. :transformer:

Also, Kicker is such a sweet dog.

Yeah, I enjoyed his series, especially because he shared his hardships and the realities of a build like his. Again OP your team should watch MuseRoamer series. It will give you a good idea of what an undertaking a build like that is. Good luck.
