While on a leadership trip, I once did a puzzle involving wooden stakes and pieces of wood in increasing lengths. The challenge was to transfer the stack to another post only moving one piece at a time. Any know specifics on this activity?

I'm charged with coming up with ice breaker/team building activities for a work trip. Anyone recommend anything or have resources they recommend?

I don't know what your activity is called but we did one with a box of spagetti and marshmellows. We had to make a structure, tallest structure wins, using only those 2 items and working in a team.

We did another one that was a little different. We were given a box of parts to make a Lego car. The car was in another room and we were given no plans or pictures. We had teams of 4 and only one person at a time could go to the other room to look at the model. The catch was, each team had a mole that was tasked with hampering production and leading to an incorrect build and no one knew who it was.

I've done a bunch, but one that sticks out is the ping pong ball one. We had several teams of 4. There were mats layed out with obsticales in the way all over, and there were different colored ping pong balls. Each ball was worth X points or dollars or whatever. Well, the teams had to pick up the balls in a certain order and so many of each color to add up to an anount and place them in a PVC tube, about 5' high and just bigger than a ball. Only problem was, you couldn't touch the balls with anything but a pencil. Each person had one, and you coudn't share or touch the other person's pencil with your hand. Sounds easy. Well it is up to about 3'! And there was a timer also you were working against. It was fun. My team didn't win though, because we didn't have the right combinations or something like that. Now it's aggrivating me 9 years later................

    I'll give you another.

We had about 20 people in a big room, all blindfolded. The instructor then whispered into everyone's ear a number between 1 and 20, and then made sure we were all mixed aorund. Then without any verbal communication allowed, we had X minutes to get ourselves into the correct order. Again, thought it was going to be easy, just some finger snapping or hand clapping, but then EVEYONE is doing it. Harder than it seems.

We did one where they have rope climbing/walking where you "rely" on a buffy to keep you standing up and balanced etc. We did a thing where a long piece of rope is brought out and everyone grabs hold of a piece of it you then get blindfolded and try to form a square or something like that. We did a lot of other things but I forget what thet were.

Here are a few. Man... I'm glad I don't work in corporate America. I have noticed our Chief's have to go through this kind of stuff from time to time though.
