While attempting to connect my Prodigy brake controller, I noticed a small box, maybe 3"x2"x1/2", tucked up under the dash, right behind the tpms reset button. It is very lightweight, says "idatalink" on it, and has what looks like a usb connector on the side. What is this???

It's for when Skynet takes over and the machines move to phase II of their operation. All vehicles will simultaneously lose braking control as well as engage the throttle to full.

No, doesn't look like any of those. Must be something related to my remote starter.

Does is have any numbers on it? Chances are it is related to remote start. I don't remember many boxes there the last time I got into that area.

Yes, I believe it has to do with my remote start.
