I keep my opener in the left folding compartment (it's a small 3 button remote opener). I don't always garage the truck and I don't want anyone with a flashlight peaking in and getting any ideas. Call me paranoid. :der:

So am I the only one who keeps the garage openers in the sunglasses bin on the ceiling??

I even clipped them in such a way that when it's closed, i have little metal "hooks" i can stick stuff

    Some
some tape felt might help tighten it up. I used it on my dash to get rid of a squeak I had and it helped tighten it up really good

Makes sense as a filler compartment. I never knew it existed, but I own a manual transmission and as you stated that's exactly where the parking brake is.

Just pull nice and hard straight back and it will pop right out.

Uses the same yellow clips like everything else on the dash or other plastic panels.
