I'm in the middle of finishing up my offroad light install, and noticed this plug here. My truck has had a bunch of mystery "wtf" things about it since I bought it, but somehow I never noticed this. It doesn't look like it's been plugged in for a very long time.

What is this for? I don't see anythign near it that matches the other end.

I have cruise control, and it actually works, but that thing isn't hooked up. I don't have ABS, and my truck isn't a TRD (if that matters).

Obviously it's some thing you don't need or you would know by now. It's cheaper to make harness to fit every thing then separately, one size fit all.

Aye, I know I don't need it, I'm just wondering what it is.
