I'm looking for the temperature plug and can't find it, but i did find this which runs within the same harness as the horn wires. So TW, what is that for?

Also, is every tacoma wired up for the temperature adapter? My overhead console has the wires for the display. Shouldn't I have the temperature plug harness as well?

I wondered the same thing. I figured maybe it was using the MAF to determine air temperature based on density. I haven't bothered to look it up tho.

Denso builds a lot more than radiators... more like just about every electronic part on our truck, and many of the mechanical ones.
