Yes but is there a gap between your flares and body? I can stick something in there a few mm wide and down to touch the foam.

Yeah I'll post a pic a bit later. I also found this older thread regarding the same issue.

This is actually bothering me too, I may have to stop by the dealership sometime next week. I still have around 2 months until I hit the 5K barrier, I don't think I can wait that long.

So I'm wondering if my foam was actually black and I'm only now noticing it from car wax which stained it whitish brown? Looks like your foam was always exposed but you have that big nick in it (the hole). Can I see your other flares ?

All 4 flares have equal foam showing, so me thinks it may actually be normal and the issue is it just has a shitload of grime and wax built up on it. It's more noticeable with flash and unnatural light. I took a piece of paper and scraped at it, sure enough a ton of dirt came up. I think I have full-blown paranoia, but won't be satisfied until I see another Taco with the foam showing on all 4 like this. Also you can see there is a clear separation on front flares of black and brown...(this sounds so absurd...)

Swung by dealer. In very kind words told me I was overthinking it. Took me to a brand new 2017 sport that had a gap, though not as pronounced and you could just see the foam. Guy said, "it's stick-on, there's only so much they can sit flush." When he pushed in on it it barely even moved. Showed me the door (again, nicely). I'll forget about it for now and will bring it up during my first service just to have it noted. Whatever.

My other fender flares have the foam showing as well. Only one has a bit of separation from the foam (from picture above), but I would've never noticed it if not for this thread lol. I think I will just wait for my 5K service to have my fender flares checked out, unless of course the separation gets worse.
