What is this green wire and why does it look sketchy?

    I’ve noticed this green wire a few times that appears to be attached with scotch tape. It originated from a wiring bundle behind/below the power steering fluid reservoir and travels down to ...? The AC compressor? Truck runs fine, AC works. Just hoping to avoid an engine fire.
