Hello I am new to this site although I have been stocking the forums for a while now, I have a 99 SR5 it's a manual transmission and after finally fixing the dial for my heater I was so excited to use it again and the heater did not work I am looking at my engine at some other leak issues and stuff like that that need to be fixed and realize these two things hang in there not plugged in and color coded in a way that makes me wonder if it has anything to do with my subsequential problem, HELP.

if you do know anything about either of the issues or have any comments that may help it would be much appreciated thank you.

Do you have manual locking hubs or ADD? I have manual hubs and I noticed some plugs hanging exactly where you are showing. I traced them to be ADD wiring which is not used, because I do not have ADD.

The harness are all the same so you will find a lot of thing that don't do anything.

Any idea on the heater? it works super well for the longest and then the knob on my console stopped working it wasn't able to turn and kept spinning back to cool as if it was springing but when I finally got it working again God knows how just mess with it until it broke loose I was excited to use my heater again and it didn't work

It’s got a cable that operates a mixing valve at firewall. If that’s fine you have air in the coolant system. When I had air in mine I parked it on a steep hill and let it idle while squeezing hoses. Can take forever

It's possible I don't understand what you're trying to say which is definitely my fault if so, but my AC works fine it'll freeze me out of the truck half the time if I use it which I don't often I use 2 Windowsand 45 miles an hour for the most part but the heaters just seems to be having some problems

He is talking about the air buble in the heater core that does not allow the hot coolant from the engine to run through heater.

Yeah, try to park it on a hill, let it idle with heat on high, squeeze upper rad hose for a cpl sec, let it go, repeat. Trouble w/ these radiators is the cores run vertically so it’s impossible to see the pump flow. Kinda just keep burping it. Shut it off for a while, sooner or later the sir will work out. Pain in ass. Search the forum, maybe there is a better way. Good luck

Actually I found revving up the engine helps with pushing bubbles. Still takes some time to clear all air from the circuit.
