What is this hose? Mine is not connected...

    Found this picture online to show the best quality image of this hose. I have highlighted it in red and drawn arrows for easier ID. It's on the back of my transfer case on what looks like the actuator. I'm guessing it's a vacuum hose? Mine isn't connected and is actually torn. Looks like I need a new one but don't really know what it's called. Would like to order something OEM.

    It's a dry heat thou, AZ
    Vehicle:
    2004 SC'd 5VZ DC 5spd 4x4 TRD.GOV
    Bailing wire & Duct tape
    It's the breather for your transfer case actuator. I'd replace it with similar (I.D) size air hose from vatozone, Napa or whatever's convenient... and do it quick. Open to air like that may quickly contaminate your actuator and no 4wd for you!

    Replace asap. Mine was pulled off and got a bunch of water in there.
