Ignore the negative feedback. It's an unfortunate side of the internet. You didn't know something and you asked about. That's how life works. Not a dumb question. Definitely a few dumb answers. I suspected right away you might be young since pinstripes have mostly gone out of style. Old school pinstripes used to be hand painted and it was a cool craft. Most of what you see these days is just a long sticker. Keep asking questions and don't worry about replying to the noise. Some of us on here don't mind sharing knowledge and won't make stupid remarks because you don't know something.

I'm cool with not knowing stuff but you're on a forum about a vehicle.

If you've ever paid attention to the world around you, and especially vehicles, you'd have noticed pinstriping.

I mean... you might be hard-pressed to find a classic car show that is less than 50% pinstriped.

 

You want to see some excellent pinstriping, go to a low-rider show.
