What is this little guy?

I'm getting ready to do the carpet delete on the truck and found this plug near my shifter. Does anybody know what it goes to?

 

Maybe the plug for the 120 Volt power inverter that you don't have.

What color is the wire(s) going to it?

Wouldn't be for the inverter, looks like it's only 1 or 2 pins and the inverter has 2 multi pin connectors.

 

If you zoom in his posted image you will see several wires going to that connector through the plastic wire loom cover.

Gonna guess USB connector in the arm rest, and look it up now.
