I don't think this is actually a paint job, but I have seen a few trucks and jeeps around town with this plastic, rough looking finish on there vehicles. It doesn't shine or have a reflection. If you were to run your hand against it would feel rough. It kind of looks like they replaced every panel of the exterior and made it plastic looking. I know it's not a matte paint job. But does anybody know what this is called or how much it would cost to do something like this? Sorry I couldn't explain better and I don't have any pictures.

Not even gonna lie this was my old z71 that I bought for 400.00. Herculined that bitch since it was 5 different colors when I got it and sold it for 4K after fixing the non broken tranny and adding a brush guard and off road lights

    I'm sorry, I do not.

I know there are a couple threads on TW of people that have done it, but I'm on my mobile and unable to search.

Cost me about 200.00 I did it myself to that poor truck.
Imho don't do it. The added weight plus heat plus when it fades it's awful.

Okay thanks for the opinion. I read somewhere it cost anywhere from 3000 to 5000 dollars to get done professionally. So I'm probably not going to do it. Thanks everybody for the help.
