Where, on the motor, did you get it from? (I don't ever remember seeing that part)

It is on the back of the intake. Hard to find if you aren't looking for it. Its cracked in the middle. I'm holding it together. Thats the water temperature sensor on the end I believe.

That is the cylinder head temp sensor housing. I will get you the part number in a few minutes.

Trying to locate it, but doesn't show up for your 2000 Tacoma SR5 with 3.4 engine. Still looking.

That would be very much appreciated BamaToy1997. I'm having the hardest finding out what it is. Nobody seems to know. Haven't been lucky on the internet either.

Part number is 11181-75021. I can get you a brand new one for $10.25 and $5 shipping. Let me know.

    DIRTY DOG!

I was zooming all over the other day trying to find that part for you Viedo. No wonder I couldn't,,,lmao. Hell, I have a 2.7,,which is the shameful part. It flashed thru my mind that it might cross over to the 3.4 as well.

Found that part guys. Dealership said it's a cover lol. I was originally taking off my EGR valve because it's throwing a P0402 code. My wrench slipped and cracked that housing when taking off my EGR valve. Thanks to everybody for the help btw. So I replaced the housing and put the EGR valve back on and everything now the truck wont crank. I'm positive I put everything back on correctly. Nothing was difficult about doing this.

Hmm maybe the coolant that dumped out got something below it wet that wasn't supposed to get wet?

It just doesn't crank or click or nothin?? The lights on the dash come on though??

It turns over. Electronics come on. Battery might be too weak to crank truck? Hasn't been started in almost 2 weeks. Going to try to jump it off this weekend.
