    Hello all,

New member to the forum. Just purchased my first Toyota, a 1996 Tacoma 2.7l 5speed 4x4. I finally got it home a week ago and decided to pressure wash the underside to start with a clean slate. While I was spraying the underside a nice chunk of metal fell out from underneath. Not entirely sure what the part is, I've looked through any parts manuals I can find and nothing appearing like it exists. There is no part number to look up and no apparent place it fell out of. The truck still drives fine but if someone could tell me what the part is I'd like to get it back on the truck.

Hello to everyone, excited to get to work on my first toyota and I hope one of you experts can help out.

Sorry, should have clarified. It fell from around the engine bay. Maybe somewhere between engine and transmission.

It looks like an exhaust hanger.

I will get a picture this evening but the bolts at the top are bolted back to the plate. They do not appear to be sheared or anything and the thread ends at the nut on the back of the plate.

Thank you for the help. I've spent probably 3 days crawling around the truck trying to find where it came from. Should have asked sooner.
