What is this part?

Heyo! Looking to replace this rusted out plate-ish piece but I can't seem to find it on a diagram and have no clue what to search for, anybody know the name/part number or have a good link for where to order it?

 

Transfer case "skid" or whatever u wanna call it.

IMHO the part doesn't look too bad. It could be removed, wire brushed, treated with a rust stabilizer, repainted, and put back.

I would also start doing the same thing on the spots on the crossmember (and probably the frame). Painting with something like POR15 would be useful then fluid film the entire thing.

 

Looks a little crusty, as others have said wire wheel, threat, and then paint/protect. I wonder what the fuel tank skid plate looks like.
