What is this red piece that is circled? I've redone several of these trucks but it's always been simple fixes. This piece that is circles is bent therefore my grille won't snap in and is loose. ThanksIMG_0612.jpgIMG_0633.jpg

Same here. I'm pretty much replacing half of the truck body wise and so far I've been pretty happy with the prices I'm finding

I'd have to inspect it more closely to make a determination...

But it doesn't look severely bent that I can see...
so I'd think you could use a come-a-long and straighten (pull) that out acceptably.
^ likely easier then welding a new support - surround into place.

Note: Probably should remove the radiator and misc. attached
before making an attempt of straightening it.

I'd only purchase a new radiator support - surround...
if the original couldn't be straightened.

You can use a string spanning as a guide...
to know how much it needs to be pulled out.

If the front body mount support (lower) is bent...
    that will likely need replacement.

No... the redneck approach/repair of using a rope or chain and backing up
is not the greatest of ideas.

Slow and easy... pull outward a little bit at a time.
'cuz if ya go too far... it will likely require an replacement.

prob had light front end damage/hit. Id test fit and see how much you need to pull it forward. May only need a little tweeking.

This shows how much it's off. I like the idea of straightening my existing one. It looks like it wouldn't take a lot of bending to get it rightIMG_0529.jpg

Yeah no joke. It looks like it's in good shape. I got this for a daily/hunting truck but I want it to look and perform halfway decent

    looks easily straightened to me.
mostly the slot holes/surround look bent inwards.

The fact that the grill/tabs are still intact...
has me thinking the impact wasn't very severe/damaging.

Put a string line spanning, from fender to fender, along the upper support
and let's see how much the upper support is actually bowed inward ?

Could be straightened with minimal effort would be my guess.

I will run a string across it when I get home and see. It looks normal with the hood closed it just rattles and it and the corner lights are loose. Thanks y'all

The corner lights mount in the fenders... so if they're loose... got nothing to do with the radiator support.

I'll guess they jiggle at the outer fender tab(s)
or the push in clips are broken or have become worn - loose.

These the factory corner lights... or something else ?

Mines bent like that, i drilled a hole in the top and secured the grill with a zip tie. i bent mine being an idiot and punching the grill back on, missed the hole and bent the core support. looks like yours was bent the same way.
