I was installing my dash cam and when I took the trim off near the fuse panel on the driver side this little black plastic piece fell to the floor board. Everything went back together fine and no rattles or anything but I hate to not have it the was it was before I took it apart. I cant figure out where it goes for the life of me. Thanks for your help.

You search the mod-list, but don't find anything of interest.
This looks like a small plastic retaining nut. You can find a similar one on the passenger side kick panel as well, it goes more on the firewall towards the side closest to the center console. Will look for a diagram... They seem essentially useless, hence why you hear no rattle, but be gentle tightening it down.
