    So I finally got around to my 15K service and was able to get this checked out. It is in fact the heater core that needs to be replaced

    I have a coal stove in my kitchen.

    It sits right about the same place in my kitchen where the heating bill sits in most other kitchens.

    If you live in coal country, you buy stoves that can burn wood or coal. Those who buy wood-only stoves and put coal in them will buy a coal stove when the replacement house is built.
